Honor of Kings came with several announcements yesterday at the closing ceremony of the HOK Championship 2024. The 5v5 MOBA will introduce its first-ever localized hero Garuda Khagesawara. He will be available in-game in the next year. In this article, we’ll cover everything we know about Honor of Kings Garuda Khagesawara so far.
Apart from the new hero announcement, the game also showcased a few things. It will bring a revamped esports roadmap for 2025, new events, unofficial tournament licensing, etc. More details will be revealed later.
Honor of Kings Garuda Khagesawara will release in 2025
While the hype is so high in the Southeast Asian region for Honor of Kings, the announcement made the fans crazy. However, we still don’t know the exact month or date of the hero’s arrival.

Garuda Khagesawara is likely to be Midlaner or Roamer. Like the hero Laura, a representative from Latin America, Garuda will do a similar play. Indonesia will receive exclusive events for Garuda only. Before, professional badminton player Li Chong Wei was featured as a skin for hero Han Xin. But this time, the hero is not only limited to skin but comes as a playable character.
Garuda Khagesawara will promote the local culture and community
The initiative to introduce a localized hero will promote the culture and community in Indonesia. John Zhang, Level Infinite’s Director of Honor of Kings Southeast Asia Publishing and Esports, said that the coming year will be another milestone for the game.
Honor of Kings will be featured in Amazon Amazon Prime’s latest anthology, Secret Level. There will be a dedicated episode for the game featuring hero Yixing. Based on this, a skin will come in December along with an event.
